Macromycetes Laetiporus sulphureus are widely used in medicine due to their antimicrobial potential. The present work is devoted to the analysis of scientific articles on the topic of the antibiotic activity of the alcohol extract of L. sulphureus and its ability to inhibit the growth of biofilms. The analysed results demonstrate that the fungal metabolites have a broad antimicrobial spectrum and high efficiency in the range of non-toxic concentrations (7-10 mg/ml).
