TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS FOR INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT TO SUPPORT THE PRINCIPLES OF THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY

This paper presents a systematic analysis of recent patent developments in biotechnological industrial wastewater treatment. It covers modular bioelectrocatalytic devices, hybrid biosorption systems, and two-stage anaerobic digestion. Key technical solutions include plug-in bioelectrocatalytic modules (15-35 % organics removal increase), immobilized biomass columns for Li, Co, Ni recovery, and cascade anaerobic-aerobic systems with recirculation.
