ACCELERATING HEAT TRANSFER IN CYLINDRICAL-CONICAL TANKS BY INTENSIFYING COOLANT MOTION

The study presents a comparative CFD analysis of two cylindrical-conical tank cooling systems. The first model utilises a standard smooth cooling jacket, while the second incorporates internal baffles to intensify coolant flow. The 5-minute simulation showed that the installation of baffles leads to an increase in the average internal heat transfer coefficient.
