This paper reviews the use of immobilized Bacillus bacteria, especially Bacillus subtilis, for the treatment of industrial wastewater containing organic pollutants. The analysis focuses on enzymatic degradation processes and shows that immobilization improves stability, reusability, stress resistance, and pollutant removal efficiency compared to free cells.
