This article reviews bioinformatic LAMP primer design, focusing on target selection via sequence alignment. It analyzes thermodynamic properties of the 6-primer set (F3, B3, FIP, BIP, LF, LB) and cross-reactivity. Software and in silico validation are key to increasing diagnostic sensitivity and specificity.
