Анотація

This paper presents review of the application and potential of microalgae in the bioremediation of aquatic ecosystems. The key mechanisms of pollutant removal are examined, and the effectiveness of microalgae in water purification is evaluated. Also the prospects and limitations of their use in water treatment systems are considered.
