This paper is devoted to reviewing the capabilities of digital tools for optimizing development in the field of microbial biotechnology. Comparative analysis of bioinformatic methods, new directions in the study of microorganisms (metabolomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, and others), as well as the development of artificial intelligence technologies show ways to significantly increase the efficiency of developments, reduce the cost of time and resources.
