Анотація

The literature on optimisation of indirect ELISA for serological diagnosis of cystic echinococcosis is analysed. Key factors affecting assay reliability, including antigen concentration, serum and conjugate dilutions, incubation time and cut-off values, are identified. The development of a domestic «anti-Echinococcus» ELISA kit is a promising approach.
