essential oil, monoterpenes, Eremothecium ashbyiАнотація
This study investigates the sequence of biochemical reactions involved in the essential oil synthesis within the fungus Eremothecium. The key components of rose essential oil were analyzed, highlighting the advantages of microbial production as a sustainable alternative to plant extraction. The metabolic pathways for monoterpene synthesis (geraniol, nerol, citronellol) were examined, focusing on the mevalonate (MVA) and methylerythritol phosphate (MEP) pathways.
