Анотація

Crude glycerol, a biodiesel by-product, was evaluated as a low-cost carbon source for β-carotene production by the red yeast Sporidiobolus pararoseus KM281507 after methanol removal. Cultivation conditions and scale-up feasibility were assessed, confirming its potential for carotenoid production and biodiesel waste valorization.
