Анотація

This study investigates the transgenerational effects of X-ray irradiation on genomic instability and secondary metabolism in the descendants of Matricaria chamomilla L. Biochemical analysis revealed a "phase opposition" effect: radiation doses that stimulated the synthesis of phenols and flavonoids in parental plants led to their inhibition in the offspring, and vice versa, indicating a wave-like nature of epigenetic memory.
