This article is devoted to analysis of relevant information about phenazine pigments, their properties, and novel directions of practical application. The main value of phenazines lies in their natural origin, ecological safety, and multifunctionality. Their practical use includes biocontrol in agriculture, integration into microbial fuel cells, and application in electrochemical sensors.
